Here, the murmur of water replaces the noise of the city. Mountains embrace the landscape, and time seems to move at a more tranquil pace. In this corner of the traditional San Cristóbal neighborhood—nestled beside an ancient Inca *wak'a*, the former site of an Inca *Ñusta’s* palace, and the historic Sapantiana aqueduct—we created Cusco’s first urban glamping experience: a sanctuary where history, nature, and comfort coexist in harmony, inviting you to discover the city with a sense of calm, connection, and a fresh perspective.
The Andean worldview holds that nature is composed of elements coexisting in balance. Inspired by this vision, we conceived Sapantiana as a space where earth, water, fire, wind, and light accompany each visitor's experience. This inspiration gave rise to our five bungalows, each designed to embody the spirit of one of these elements.
In Sapantiana, there is no rush.
Each morning begins with a breakfast prepared using local ingredients and authentic Cusqueña flavors. The rest of the day unfolds at your own pace: you might enjoy an open-air hot bath, conversation by the campfire, or a Peruvian cooking and traditional weaving experience that brings you closer to the essence of Cusqueña culture.
There are places you visit only once. And there are others that, for some reason, always invite you to return. We hope Sapantiana is one of them.
